Men's soccer is ranked #15 Nationally. That's the Highest National Ranking any sponsored sport at Wright State has ever achieved. They are currently 7-0-1.

I looked, but could not see where the rankings are located or where WSU was listed in the top 25

Men's soccer improved to 8-0-1 with a 4-2 win at UDM yesterday. Daily RPI inched up to #31. The men have a HUGE contest this Tuesday with a road match vs 7-time National Champs and #5 RPI Virginia Cavaliers. As far as polls go, there are two recognized polls in soccer, similar to basketball, football, etc. One is a coaches poll (which WSU is receiving votes) and the other by supposed experts (writers, analysts, etc), with is TopDrawer Soccer rpiupdatemenssoccer.blogspot.com/search/label/RPI%20Rank

Prior to the UVA match Wright State moved up to #11 in TopDrawer and #22 in the Coaches poll. Last night the Raiders ended a home match with UIC in a 1-1 draw. That's unfortunate as a win would have probably kept us in the top-25 in both polls. We still may be ranked in both polls tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised if we drop out of the coaches poll.

I'm really disappointed the WSU athletic dept didn't make an effort to put out a game preview like West Virginia....Though the Mountaineers play men's soccer in the MAC it's not often a sport from a Power-5 program visits WSU in any sport. WVU Faces First Ranked Foe... "Wright State has proven to be one of top teams in country so far this season," WVU coach Marlon LeBlanc said. "Tuesday will be an incredibly difficult test for us against a really good opponent on the road." wvusports.com/news/2018/10/8/mens-soccer-wvu-faces-first-ranked-foe-at-no-15-wright-state.aspx

Men get back on the winning side of the ledger with a 3-0 win over West Virginia. Raiders improve to 9-1-2.
FWIW, It's nice to see Wright State on the ESPNU scroll of top-25 scores....

Daily RPI jumps up to #26. If we win out regular season and lose in HL finals to UIC should be good enough for an At-Large (FWIW, men's soccer only has a 48-team field).
We have one more top-100 RPI match on the schedule and that's at Oakland (#100) this Saturday.
