Results from Friday, Nov. 16:
Oakland 61, UNLV 74 Milwaukee 63, UC 74 IUPUI 70, Richmond 78 South Carolina St. 69, Cleveland St. 84 YSU 94, Columbia 83 In overtime Green Bay 82, Eastern Washington 78 UNC Ashville 50, Northern Kentucky 77
Through the weekend YSU is allowing nearly 84 points on season. 3 programs (UDM, Milwaukee, Oakland) remain winless vs. D I Comp. This week the 3 winless programs each host games as part of their MTE's. HL RPI moves up to #26. Equivalent metrics are probably similar as KenPom has 30% of HL with rankings 300+

Oakland dominates division III Defiance, 91-47
UDM notches first D I win of season with 91-63 victory over Loyola-Maryland.
Toledo improves to 2-1 with 90-62 win over Florida Gulf Coast.
Eastern Michigan Hurons tied an All-Time NCAA scoring record (shot clock era) for a Half...Any Half...4 points...in loss to Rutgers. Next game: Home vs. UDM this Sat. See if Titans can help them break the record...For those that hate football...the game is scheduled for a 2 PM tip. Note to Bilas: This Rutgers team must be best of all-time as Duke couldn't hold the mighty Hurons to only 4 points in a half this season.
#15 Mississippi State loses for the first time in a very athletic and physical, but ugly, basketball game to Arizona State 72-67 in a 98% empty T-Mobile Arena. Thank goodness Phil Mickelson and his posse were there. Otherwise it would have been an empty T-Mobile arena and made Motor City Madness look deserving of live "game day."

Jacksonville State goes on a 11-0 run to end the first half, up 33-24, and keeps the pedal to the metal in the 2nd half by scoring 51 points in route to a 84-53 blowout of Western Carolina in the opening game in Cancun.
In their loss the Catamounts allowed 19 steals...A tournament record. In WCU's 4 losses they're allowing 12.5 picks/game. Their lowest allowed in those games: 9 vs Wright State.

Just curious how Murray State could have an RPI of 4 and the only game they have played to date was against us. 1-0 with an RPI of 4. That just does not make sense to me.

UDM makes it 2-in-a-row in 2 days. Win! UDM over BGSU, 82-67
Rockets improve to 3-1 by flying over Ragin' Cajuns, 77-64
Milwaukee notches first D I win of season in OT at home over Long Island, 92-87
Unlike another HL program with Green in its colors, Green Bay covers Vegas spread in loss to P-5 program. 83-72 Oregon.
After Tuesday's games Oakland is the only program in the HL without a W vs a D I program.

I have not looked at our schedule recently but my memory is we had four noteworthy games that would be good wins. I thought we had an excellent opportunity to win 2-3 games of the four. We have played three and are 0-3. I wish I liked our chances better at MSU but I do not. this kind of start does nothing to pull in the casual fan.
