Bryan Mullins has been named the new Head Coach at Southern Illinois. Mullins, 32, returns to his Alma Mater after 5 years as an assistant at Loyola-Chicago. Mullins is an SIU Hall of Famer, former 2 time MVC Defensive POY and led the Saluki's to the Sweet 16. His brother Brendan is a former WSU assistant.

Siena has named Carmen Maciariello 18th head coach in Siena Men’s Basketball history. The native of nearby Clifton Park, New York recently completed is first season as an assistant coach in his second stint on the Siena Basketball staff. The 40 year old Maciariello also played at Sienna from 1997-2001.

Stony Brook will name Geno Ford as their new head basketball coach. Ford had been as assistant for the Seawolves for the past three seasons, and was promoted to interim head coach earlier this month when Jeff Boals departed for Ohio. Ford has previously served as the head coach at Kent State (2008-11 / 68-37), and Bradley (2011-15 / 48-86).

Tim Miles is out as the head basketball coach at Nebraska. He had been the Cornhuskers head coach since 2012 and has compiled a 116-114 (52-76 BIG) record at the school. Nebraska wrapped up this season with a 19-17 (6-14 B1G) record, and advanced to the second round of the NIT.

Arkansas has fired head basketball coach Mike Anderson. Anderson has been the Razorbacks coach for the past eight seasons (169-104), including 18-16 this year. He also worked as the head coach at Missouri (2006-11), and UAB (2002-06).

Idaho State University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Bill Evans’ contract will not be renewed after it expires early in May. Director of Athletics Pauline Thiros made the announcement on Tuesday. Evans has been the head coach at Idaho State for the past seven seasons and tallied a 71-141 record and a 46-83 mark in Big Sky Conference play.

Former Raider assistant and head coach and current Northwestern assistant Billy Donlon will be named as the head coach at UMKC. It sounds like the presser will take place on Friday.

BYU men’s basketball Dave Rose today announced he is retiring from coaching at BYU after 22 years, including 14 seasons as head coach. Rose served as an assistant coach on Steve Cleveland’s staff from 1997-2005, before taking over the program prior to the 2005-06 season.

Greg Gary, who has helped guide Purdue to three consecutive Sweet 16 appearances, has been named the 27th men’s basketball head coach at Mercer University, Director of Athletics Jim Cole announced Tuesday.
