Eric Henderson, who served as an assistant coach for the South Dakota State University men’s basketball team the past three seasons, has been promoted to head coach. Henderson replaces T.J. Otzelberger, who earlier in the day resigned to accept the head coaching position at UNLV.

Todd Golden, who for the last three years has served as the associate head coach under Kyle Smith at USF, has been named head men’s basketball coach at the University of San Francisco, Director of Athletics Joan McDermott announced this evening.

John Smith, who most recently helped Cal State Fullerton to three successive postseason appearances as the team’s associate head coach, was named head coach of the Cal Poly men’s basketball program on Thursday afternoon.

Sounds like Hoiberg deal is done.
In the meantime, I'm going to walk everyone through a bizarre 5 coach, 6 team carousel. (Fred Hoiberg, Tim Floyd, Larry Eustachy, Doc Sadler, Tim Miles. Iowa State, Nebraska, UTEP, Southern Miss, Colorado State, Chicago Bulls)
Hoiberg finished his final season as a player under Tim Floyd.
Tim Floyd left for the Bulls.
Larry Eustachy takes over for Floyd at Iowa State.
Larry Eustachy gets fired and ends up at Southern Miss.
Meantime Doc Sadler is coaching at UTEP. Sadler ends up at Nebraska.
Fast forward. Sadler gets fired at Nebraska and ends up an assistant at Kansas.
Hoiberg comes back as a coach at Iowa State.
Doc Sadler joins Hoiberg at Iowa State as an assistant.
Tim Floyd ends up at UTEP.
Tim Miles comes to Nebraska from Colorado State.
Larry Eustachy replaces Tim Miles at Colorado State.
Guess who's now at Southern Miss....Doc Sadler, of course, that just makes sense.
Hoiberg gets fired from the Bulls...just like Floyd. And appears he's now at Nebraska.
What does any of this mean? I got no fricken idea, but there's the dots.

Now that Houston is out, will Sampson get a bigger better job and what series of dominoes will that start toppling? It’s nice to see the HL hasn’t been touched by coaching changes yet. Although somewhat surprising
