Worse than the HL final loss at Butler where they lost (I think) 70-45?

Better league. Nope. Respect in the community. Nope. This is the worst lost in the history of the program, period. We can't gain any traction in this program. How embarking losing to this shit team.

It’s frustrating to see 90% of the turnout here is WSU fans and this is what we get. Not the best thing to build on.

The year we played uwm at home, huge crowd, we choke. Choke last year. Choke this year. I do put some blame on the hl. We should never went away from the top seed gets home court, but it's too late to change that.

Ok let me get this over with. All season I have bragged this team up. said they were the type of team that could win a game or two in he dance. that we were a good team that could accomplish some things. I was wrong. we are at best a mediocre to average team who built a 25 win season on playing a schedule loaded with third rate teams. had we played a respectable schedule we would have had a much different record.
I am just not sure what this program should do. but putting on this kind of performance tonight has revealed what is behind the curtain and it is not a wizard.
no telling who comes out of this league to the ncaa now but hope it is not the two seed.

Worse than the HL final loss at Butler where they lost (I think) 70-45? Way worse than that. WSU may lose by less than 25 but I didn't expect WSU to win that game at Butler. I fully expected WSU to win the conference tournament this year after the best conference finish in school history. One of the worst losses in program history if not the worst.

I told myself I would think Wright State had a good season no matter what would happen in the conference tournament before tonight. I still believe that. Great season by this team and Coach Nagy. I believed any of the 4 remaining teams could win the HL tournament and it wouldn't be much of a surprise. This team seemed to show some holes down the stretch with the loss to YSU and almost losing to Cleveland State.
That said, man this is a pretty humbling loss. I think it could be hard for these guys to get up for the NIT after a loss like this, but who knows. I haven't watched any (thankfully!) but checked in with the boxscore in the first half and hearing they were down 10 early didn't sound like it was their night.
I guess if it makes you feel better, I always think of Virginia getting dominated by #16 seed UMBC a few years back...Butler losing years ago as I believe a #1 seed to Green Bay maybe as an #8 seed?
I would almost like to see NKU win the title now that Wright State is going out...I could see Amari Davis on Green Bay though dominating and leading his team to a title. Maybe too young though.

Keith, I'm with you. I have been trying to root and tell everyone who listens there is more than 1 team in this area. But this shit continues to set us back. Although we knew the schedule was weak, uic was a weak team that we should have taken care of. An awful loss for a team that just choked. Feel horrible for the players because they probably feel it worse than we do. But damn they didn't come to play.

I'm disappointed we lost tonight. I'm more disappointed in all of the fair weather fans on this board.

I wonder if the pressure all year leading up to this game got to the Raiders...once they lost some early games it's kind of like the rest of season doesn't mean a whole lot since there is no chance of an at large bid.
Raiders are probably right where they should be in this conference. They can win it or compete for it every year. Valpo did make their tourney championship but overall they've struggled in the MVC being pretty irrelevant. I think in the MVC WSU would be a 5-8 seeded team most years.

17-60 shooting 7-28 3 point shooting 15-29 free throws....for those who watched was it good UIC defense, or just bad shooting for the Raiders? Did they have some open looks the Raiders?

I wouldn't mind seeing a UC-WSU NIT game.
Or maybe I wouldn't considering the state of my Bearcats.
Either way, best of luck to WSU in the postseason.
