For those of us too cheap to get a DDN subscription, is it speculative or have guys stated they will be back? Neither here nor there: talked about the talent coming back, but also the door being open for Loudon and that no decision has been made yet. Also confirmed we wanted to foul in the final seconds against Milwaukee when we were up 3 but obviously didn't make that happen. Not sure I'd seen that reported before.

His idea of being a regular at large? We aren’t even close. Wright State does not have any solid record in scheduling, winning, or recruiting that puts us even close to this discussion. Nagy needs to sit back and reconsider some things if this is his plan. He gets a break for this irregular season.

Hall transferring is no surprise at all.

Hall transferring is no surprise at all. That’s how I feel about it. It’ll be weird to not see him as a Raider, but I had a feeling this could happen.

I just hope we don't lose any of our returning starters. We need that core to build on for next year. I also hope our coaching staff is able to bring in a couple of experienced players (transfers or JUCOs) that can contribute next year.

I'm not surprised either. If I would have made a "most likely to transfer" list, he would have been atop it. I don't think it's incredibly impactful; I just hope that he's the only one. We really don't need anyone who saw serious minutes leaving. Hopefully this opens the door to us landing a transfer now that we know there's an open scholarship for next year.

We only went 7 deep last year and most of those minutes went to 6 guys. Hall was one of those 6. He averaged over 26 minutes a game, 9.4 points and 2.5 rebounds a game. Hopefully this opens the door to us landing a transfer now that we know there's an open scholarship for next year. We already had an open scholarship for next year. Hall leaving gives us 2.

Like others have already said, this isn't surprising. After Hall got benched for a couple games earlier in the year I thought he was going to quit the team then. I was surprised he stuck it out for the remainder of the year. This could be a blow to next year or it could open the door to bring in an impact replacement. We just aren't going to know until recruiting is done. Honestly I am concerned about recruiting. Nagy and co locked in on 2 guys last year for the late signing period and didn't sign either recruit. We ended up not using those scholarships this year and we all know how that hurt our depth. I really want to see a full roster next year.

Jaylon was a 4th year junior this year. I hope he is finishing up his degree before he leaves Wright State.

Been checking this board every day waiting for some transfer news & here it is. All the best to Jaylon wherever he ends up. Hard to stomach getting benched combined with what happened midseason & this isn't surprising.
I really hope the coaches can get some good recruits in & WSU doesn't lose any of their top five returning players (or anyone else).

From my perspective as a fan, I Was pleasantly surprised with how he bounced back this season after he started coming off the bench. I thought he seemed to accept his new role and performed much better offensively after the change. I wish Jaylon the best and hope he can find a school and program that will be a good fit for him.
Now it's next man up for the Raiders and it opens up a scholarship for the staff to use. I don't think it will be significantly impactful either. Just because Nagy didn't go deep on the rotation, doesn't mean the drop off for the rest of the team is drastic. If more players put their name in the transfer portal, then it becomes concerning.

Like you all said, not surprising. However, he will be missed. He was our best 3 point shooter and a good defender. Thanks for everything Jaylon, best of luck finishing your career.

Four years is a long time to spend in one place. He was a key piece of the NCAA team and always carried himself well on the court. Best of luck to him.
