34-9 at the under 8 minute timeout. Oakland shooting terribly and WSU on fire from 3. Expecting a big win by the good guys tonight. Hoping to get bench players some playing time to keep the top 7 fresh for tomorrow.

We missed our first six shots and are still shooting over 50% for the game with eight minutes left in the first half. Not terrible.

Is Trey Calvin in Nagy's dilog house? Only played 4 minutes this half. If he is he doesn't seemed bothered by it. Looked like on camera he is happy and cheering on his teammates. I doubt he is. |

I'm all for letting some reserves in. Great to get experience against another squad's starters, but also great to rest our guys for tomorrow.

We didn’t let Oakland crack double digits til less than 5:00 left (!!!) so I think he’s fine resting his legs for an evening. |

Oakland has gone on a little run here to end the half with young guys in for both teams. Bringing the twin towers back in for the final :30.

49-21 at halftime. Lead got cut from 35 to 28 down the stretch but overall very happy with the game thus far.
Hopefully WSU can hold the lead and rest some players ahead of tomorrow.

Trey had two quick fouls. One was,marginal. That’s when he came out.

This is where you put in the bench guys, make them pretend the score is tied, and tell them they have to win by at least 29. |
