We are playing a pretty tough OOC schedule this year. I like it! I agree. Best case scenario, this is the type of OOC schedule that will help us with NCAA seeding if we win the HL this year. Worse case scenario, its a challenging schedule that should help prepare the team for an improved HL schedule this year. I like 2 power 5 conference games on the schedule.

Love this field from a name recognition perspective. Unsure how good the teams are but happy that WSU is part of this tournament!

Murray State is a nice addition for the last spot in the field. It’s’ a decent field and I like the bracket. GW hasn’t been great in recent years, but the A10 school should be a good opponent that can potentially help (or at least not hurt) the strength of schedule. James Madison was one of the top CAA teams last season and Kent State landed some good transfers and should be one of the top teams in the MAC, so the 2nd round opponent should be good no matter what. If WSU can win the first 2 games, I’d expect a matchup with Missouri State who is expected to be very strong this year.
If NC State is indeed on the schedule, this is great! This looks like it could be the kind of schedule many of us have wanted and the players have deserved for several years. The opportunities are there for the team to prove themselves in the non conference.

That looks like a good field and it would be fun to watch a lot of those games. In fact, I am going to make an executive decision and make plans to head south for this tournament. Now I have to figure how to tell Mrs. Raiderrunt that I am going to spend a week in the sun. I have almost four months to try to scam some free tickets.

I keep seeing non-conference games getting posted via Twitter, but nothing from Horizon League about their schedule. Are they holding out as long as possible due to unknowns with COVID? Any update from the university or Horizon League if they are even going to try to have fans? I know Volleyball is starting soon and have not seen any official statements come out or maybe I missed it.
Usually we hear something from Wright State Athletic Department and the chatter has been quiet.

Does the gap between Nov. 24th & Dec. 15th indicate there will be 2 weeks of Horizon League play in December?

Interesting schedule note you pointed out there Will...
Based on some quick checking of other schedules the trend is kinda the same...
Milwaukee plays @ Colorado on 12/10 NKU plays Canisius on 12/8 YSU plays Canisius on 12/11, then @ WVU on 12/22 (a Weds. fwiw)
Looks like conference games could start the weekend of 12/18. If that was the case, assuming they stick with the traveling partners on Thurs/Sat or Fri/Sun, you need 11 weekends of ball (assuming they stick with the 22 games schedule), which takes you up to the weekend of 2/26. Given that the HL tournament starts on 3/1; I'd say it looks logical. If they aren't starting the weekend of 12/18, you're cramming in league games mid-week.
