Interesting schedule note you pointed out there Will... Based on some quick checking of other schedules the trend is kinda the same... Milwaukee plays @ Colorado on 12/10 NKU plays Canisius on 12/8 YSU plays Canisius on 12/11, then @ WVU on 12/22 (a Weds. fwiw) Looks like conference games could start the weekend of 12/18. If that was the case, assuming they stick with the traveling partners on Thurs/Sat or Fri/Sun, you need 11 weekends of ball (assuming they stick with the 22 games schedule), which takes you up to the weekend of 2/26. Given that the HL tournament starts on 3/1; I'd say it looks logical. If they aren't starting the weekend of 12/18, you're cramming in league games mid-week. We play 12/18 and 12/22.

Right, but nobody else seems to have that weekend full. I wonder if we'll get a weekend of league games and then the two OOC games, and back into league play? It seems strange to play a road buy game after the conference season starts. It's that, or random mid-week conference games; not sure how you could cram 22 games in between Christmas and the end of February.

I've been critical of the schedule the past few seasons, but I have no complaints with this schedule. It could be the most challenging schedule of the Nagy era. I'm looking forward to November!

I'm mostly happy with the schedule. the only glaring issue is that D2 team to start the season. Our coaches were given a scheduling gift with the 22 game HL schedule that eliminated some of the OOC games they would normally have to schedule. There really is no excuse why we are still scheduling non D1 games, especially when we could have very easily kept Miami OH on the schedule.

I am bummed that Miami is not on the schedule this year. I think the fans enjoyed that game. I guess the teams couldn't find a date.

Not really about Wright State schedule, but ... Whyβd you post it here if it isnβt about WSU schedule? Had me all excited thinking weβd announced a WSU-Miami date.

How did Miami pull that off? I wonder if itβs a home and home deal, or possibly a 2-1 with this year being at Miami and the last two in Cincy. The short article linked to the tweet doesnβt say.

Itβs the reason they arenβt playing us this year. Big get for Miami. Remember when UC played at WSU? That feels like forever ago. Would love to get something like that again. Remember it quite well. We did a 2 and 1 and got absolutely creamed at home. We scored something like 20 first half points. UC brought a nice showing of fans and they turned it into a mini 5/3rd arena. Not something I'd be keen on reliving.

I also remember WSU not playing well which was real disappointing. Happy for Miami getting this game.

king, if my memory is correct, that was the game that 5 or so of ucβs players were suspended and so they they were very short handed. and yet it looked like a div ii team playing them. that was one of the more embarrassing evenings watching the raiders at the Nutter.
