Even keeled is fine but I have a feeling that all of the trash that Cleveland State talked in the previous two games is going to catch up with them. They go way past the borders of goos sportsmanship in the way the bench handles themselves. Their assistant coaches all must have studied the Huggins Playbook, too.

Get to Indianapolis tonight!!! This team deserves and needs your support in person. Let's make Indiana Farmers Coliseum our home court. Go Raiders!!! Wish I could! Not in the position in life where I can go tonight... But I have blocked my calendar and will be bringing my young kids to Indy tomorrow night if the Raiders can pull out a tough one against CSU tonight! Go Raiders!

This game will be decided in two key areas:
1. How many TOs Cleveland State will force against us when they go to zone. They opened in man last time out against us and very quickly went to zone and stuck with it the rest of the way. We had 26 TOs in that game (over double our season average) and only lost by 4. Trade 3 of those in for buckets and we win the game. I've been a big complainer about Nagy's ability to the handle the zone all season; it has gotten better as we've gone along, but CSU arguably plays the tightest zone of anyone we've faced. First and foremost we need to take care of the basketball. We might not always get a quality look at the basket in facing the zone, but I think anyone in there right mind would take 26 bad shots over 26 TOs.
2. How our defensive rebounding is. In the blackout game earlier this year, CSU pulled down 16 offensive rebounds that led to 13 second chance points. Cut that number in half, we win that way as well.
I don't need to drag on, but the officiating crew needs to keep Dennis Gates in the coaching box, and keep the 50 person CSU bench in order. Cheer all you want; but stay off the damn court. Officials had quite a long leash with CSU this year asking the bench to stay seated and stay off the game surface, but I never witnessed them actually penalize CSU with a technical foul, which has been more than warranted on more times than I care to count.
It is a VERY quiet night in college basketball, only 10 D1 games going on. With the big10 tournament about to tip in Indianapolis, I'm optimistic we'll see a veteran crew that will not only keep the game clean, but one that will make the calls that need to be made. CSU is in the bottom third in D1 for fouls per game (18), so hopefully some of those calls that were missed in our home game can be made this evening.
