Raiders lose 12-10 to Purdue Ft. Wayne. It is hard to win when the Raiders pitchers give of 17 hits and the RaiderGang fielders make two critical errors.

Losses like that one are the reason we end up as a 4 seed in the regionals. Our pitchers getting blasted by a team with 3 wins on the year is awful. Pitching continues to hold this team back year in and year out. |

Oh crap, I just took a look at The Ohio State Buckeyes RPI and it is the highest in the Big 10. Ohio State is sitting pretty with an RPI of 35. RaiderGang has an RPI of 141. The Ohio State game is in Columbus Tuesday 3/21 at 6 pm. Raider baseball got the victory at OSU today 3-0 behind a gem of an outing by southpaw starter Alex Theis (6ip, 0 hits).
Raiders had a no doubt solo bomb by Parker Harrison in the 5th and added one insurance run in the 8th and another one in the 9th. Raiders limited OSU to 3 singles on the day.
Great road win for #RaiderGang and a great day for our pitching staff.

Wright State jumped up 26 spots in the RPI to 117, Ohio State dropped 14 spots to 53.
Miami has an RPI of 296, so beating the Redskins/RedHawks will still drop the RaiderGang RPI.

Miami out-hit our RaiderGang 9-8 and the Raiders had three errors. WSU will get creamed by Xavier and UC if they play like that against UC.
Wright State leads the all-time series with Miami 49-43.
Wright State plays Miami, Ohio State, Dayton, UC, Xavier and Toledo twice this year. So far the Raiders are 4-0. Going 12-0 will be a monumental task.

Raiders had Oakland down to their last out up a run, but the Griz are proving pesky. Luikart wiggles out of the blown save due to an error, but if we're gonna get the W, it'll be in walkoff fashion. 8-8 bottom 9.
