The Dispatch article mentioned he wasn't eligible to grad transfer anywhere.

D, curious what your thoughts are on this? We are all hoping for the best and the anticipation is getting me antsy! I honestly don’t know what to think. People that have alot more inside information than me are telling me Tanner is going to be a Raider and we are just waiting on paperwork. That being said, our assistant coaches have reached out to 2-3 new portal guys and 3-4 new high school seniors on social media in the last 48 hours. That doesn’t make any sense to me if Tanner to Wright State is a done deal. |

There are two guys that immediately come to mind on the roster that this could negatively affect their playing time. |

Portal window to have your name entered has already passed, right? So I'd think our coaches would have to know that someone is planning on grad transferring elsewhere at this point.
That or they aren't very confident in the waiver/paperwork going through...
Scratch that - I was apparently confusing the football portal window which closed recently. Another week left for anyone to enter for basketball. So if we are expecting Tanner back and still actively recruiting then we know someone else is planning on leaving or there have been some frank discussions about playing time next year with somebody and a suggestion they'd find more minutes somewhere else.

Center from Baylor, come on down you're the next piece to this championship team! The center from Baylor just finished his junior year in which he scored 12 points total for the entire season. I don’t think he is the missing piece to a championship team. I don’t know if he would even see the court for us here besides mop up minutes. |
