Looking forward to this one. Youngstown St, statistically, is the most well-rounded team in the Horizon League. They are top-3 in scoring offense, scoring defense, FG defense, rebound margin, assists, turnovers lost.
Wright State looked like the savvy veteran team we were all hoping for last night against a much inferior opponent in RMU. Great passing, ball fakes, aggressiveness keeping the Colonials off balance all night. That said, I do agree with others that the starters played far too many minutes, especially once the game was "in hand" (Or at least as close a WSU game can ever be "in hand" with their defense)
Interested to watch 7'3" freshman Gabe Dynes. 2nd in the Horizon League in blocks despite playing under 12 minutes/gm. He only played 1 minute in their last game

This is going to be a fun one to watch! A win here will help greatly in the standings and building confidence. It will be a battle I think. I might go to the Milano's in Beavercreek for the watch party. Does anyone know how many people usually turn out for those?

The Game opened with YSU being 1.5 favorites at home.
They are having a red out at the game, but bad weather may keep some of the fair weather fans away.
Hopefully we play well tonight, with Dayton playing on ESPN2 right before us, maybe we can pickup a few local basketball fans that usually don’t watch us, and show them how entertaining the Raiders play this year.

If we keep playing with unselfish passing and high percentage assists we should win. Need to stay away from to many over dribbling and one on one. Our shots made percentage is much higher with high number of assists.

YSU starting 3/12 from 3. Expect them to keep chucking them.
