According to the article and the Bradley board, they open with SMU, so it looks like we open with Penn State, if they are correct.

Not sure if this is still the status or the Indiana State series fulfilled our need, but as of a few weeks ago we were looking to start a home-and-home series on the road.
Other programs that were looking home-and-home series were:
-St. Mary's. The'y're in our neck of the woods as they play at Western Kentucky on Dec. 1, but want to fill early-Mid Nov. dates. -Tulsa. -Bradley. I pretty much ruled them out as we have them in our bracket in Cancun. -Buffalo. -Wyoming. Home (WY) Dec. 8 and away Dec. 20-22. -FGCU. -College of Charleston.
6/6/18 Edit: Seton Hall is still needing 3 games to fill out next year's schedule.

I would love to have a home and home with fgcu. they would be good competition and they are 20 mins from my house. We just need to ignore hl guidelines and schedule up. also if that is st marys that is gonzaga’s leaguemate that would be a great matchup.

That is not a bad field--it looks like S. the Raiders S. Miss, Bradley, Penn St and SMU could all be top 100 RPI teams

79, we are in Cape Coral from sept. until May. 7-8 years ago the raiders made a two game swing into Fl playing the gators in Tampa and nort Florida. We went up for those two games. Of course we lost both of them. love to see them do that again.

That’s what the word “host” means Opti.

That’s what the word “host” means Opti. How are those game a part of the Cancun challenge? I know what host means, but am asking how games at the Nutter Center figure into a tournament in Cancun. Pretty innocent question for those of us who are occasionally curious as opposed to those that know everything. Opti Seriously?? How are they part of the Challenge? Just click on the link...or go WSURaiders.com There are two divisions...as discussed previously...in a couple of different threads. This one and the Horizon League MTE thread. The upper division (Riviera) which is the division WSU is in hosts-meaning home game--lower division (Mayan) programs.

You can answer most of your questions if you would take the time to read the links from the Cancun challenge, WSU Raiders.com, and DDN in this thread.

Here is what we know so far: Home games:Miami OH Western Kentucky Western Carolina (Cancun Challenge) North Florida (Cancun Challenge) Away games:Mississippi State Indiana State Penn State (Cancun Challenge) SMU or Bradley (Cancun Challenge) Speculations:--I think the contracts with Toledo, Kent State, and Murray State are done. I hope we can renew some of those series. --I hope we are done with scheduling D2/3 teams. If we want to take the next step as a program, we have to improve our OOC schedule. Please post updates if you hear anything. We host Toledo Nov 14th.

It looks like the non-conference schedule has quietly been added to the Wright State website: wsuraiders.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=168Sadly it looks like there will be multiple non-D1 opponents (Cedarville and Northwestern Ohio). • Oct 31 (Wed) 7:00 PM vs Notre Dame College (Ohio) (Exhibition) • Nov 7 (Wed) 7:00 PM vs Western Carolina% • Nov 10 (Sat) TBA at Murray State • Nov 14 (Wed) 7:00 PM vs Toledo • Nov 17 (Sat) 7:00 PM vs North Florida% • Nov 20 (Tue) 8:30 PM vs Penn State% • Nov 21 (Wed) TBA vs Bradley/SMU% • Nov 27 (Tue) 7:00 PM vs Cedarville • Dec 1 (Sat) TBA at Indiana State • Dec 5 (Wed) 7:00 PM vs Miami (OH) • Dec 8 (Sat) TBA at Kent State • Dec 13 (Thu) 7:00 PM vs Northwestern Ohio • Dec 18 (Tue) 7:00 PM vs Morehead State • Dec 22 (Sat) TBA at Mississippi State
Unless something changes, this appears to be a complete non-conference schedule as I believe it puts the schedule at 31 games(including conference play). Western Kentucky is not listed, so it seems that series may have been cancelled.
