The refs haven't built a 17 point lead either. While it appears we've been shorted a bit, we simply aren't running any offense, and so far, our defense has taken the night off.

10 seems like a monumental victory at this point. I think it's worth trying to come out in a matchup zone or 3/4 press to throw NKU off coming back. What we're doing clearly hasn't worked.
Interesting side note, the team trailing at the half won both matchups this season.. 3-peat?

Raiders defense is not working, their offense is not working...bring in James Manns. The kid likes to shoot and his defense can't be any worse than the others right now. Serious question...Are you James Manns? You seem to be the only person in the world that think he/you can contribute to this team. He/you might get some more playing time if he/you stop posting on message boards during games when he/you are supposed to be holding the coach's clipboard. |

We did not control the pace of that half whatsoever. That was exactly what NKU wanted to do. Their defense was tenacious and we didn't get set well enough. All the NKU buckets let them set up shop. I don't think we were looking for that press right off the bat, and I was hopeful that we'd break it a few times and Brannan would let it go, but to no avail.
I think our best road to victory is to slow the pace down and work the ball and run our offense. Just like last night, we can't out shoot NKU, but we can out think them and out smart them.

There's clearly a double standard in this game. McDonald running over people, hacking Love, no foul. The league is protecting their "best player" circa Matt Howard. Disgusting. Can't wait til we don't have to look at his ugly mug any longer.
