There's clearly a double standard in this game. McDonald running over people, hacking Love, no foul. The league is protecting their "best player" circa Matt Howard. Disgusting. Can't wait til we don't have to look at his ugly mug any longer. Dude I agree. But shouldn't that mean love gets the calls next year?

NKU: “should I score 2 points this time or 3? Guess it doesn’t matter, it’ll go in no matter what”

Shoot 11-18 from 3's, you're going to win 95% of the time. Was the exact point I made this morning, and we completely failed to deliver any consistent defensive execution.

Cole got pushed right in the back! How obvious do the fouls have to be sometimes??

Ok, sad to see such a poor effort after a solid year. They came ready to play, we need more offensive weapons for when other teams have this kind of a shooting night. ....oh and Love should have a shooting percentage over 70 percent from where he normally shoots, never seen someone miss so many layups. He does hustle after the miss but still

We are going to have to pick up some full court press. We can't just let them run clock if we want to get back into this.

At the end of the day, at least I don’t live in Kentucky. Because honestly, no matter what you win, you’ll always be a loser. Because it’s kentucky.

He's too busy drawing hearts around Drew McDonald's name on his score sheet

Every time the announcers trumpet praise for McDonald, I hear a distant voice whisper...”Europe.”

Crapped our pants in yet another big time game. If we are honest with ourselves, we were really never in the game. NKU took the tip, put the pedal to the floor, and never looked back. The were the aggressor and were clearly playing like they had something to prove. Something we never seem to do.
I'm sure the team will be just as disappointed as we are. They had a chance to go to back to back NCAAs for the first time ever, and didn't rise to the occasion.
I know the NIT is in our future now, but that doesnt really excite me as a fan. We will be a 6 or 7 seed and end up playing a middle of the road power 5 team in their gym. There are some interesting matchups out there if you look at some of the other trending NIT teams, but its not like we're headed there on a good note.
Good bye and good riddance to Drew McDonald. Cant wait to see what Love can do when he's given the same bias Drew was given as the league's token invincible PF.
We should be just as good next year, if not better, and NKU will certainly take a step back without him. I'm excited to see what this team can do with a returning roster that returns probably 75% of our scoring.
Interesting that in four years in Detroit, no number one team won. What's more interesting / deflating, this makes us 2-6 in Horizon League championship games.

We are not going to win a tough game without finishing at the rim.
