Nagy was so difficult to recruit and sign that I don’t believe he will have any interest in relocating for many years, if at all. It took a lot to get him here and he is being well-treated by the university and the community.

Sucks for NKU but it’s good for us. NKU will lose most if not all of their incoming recruits and have to go through a rebuilding process. It really opens the door wide open for Wright State to dominate this league the next couple of years. not really Bryce Drews name is already being mentioned and he's a very good recruiter. He could wait for a better offer but lotta feel he got rail roaded at Vandy. If Nku goes after Drew NKU will not drop off much. If they promote an assist they not drop off at all. None of their assistants scare me and I don’t think any of them keep their recruiting class together.

NKU has some big men coming in and a 7 footer returning. We have not reloaded yet and I don’t see any big men being recruited. Big D, what is the insider on this.

NKU has excellent facilities and is in a fertile recruiting area. They won't drop off much. Especially if the land Drew or Luke Murray.

Vandy doesn't have to release salaries since they're a private school. Stallings was making $2.1 million in 2013. The lowest paid coach in the SEC is at Missouri was at $1.1 million. Do you think NKU can get even close to that amount? I'd be surprised if they got even close to half that amount since Brannen was making $370K.

I can’t think Bryce Drew has much leverage in the situation. He’s unemployed and coming off ones the worst conference seasons a power 5 team has ever had. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut once a season. Drew went 0-19 in a conference that was elite at the top but had a lot of underwhelming teams in the middle and bottom third. He’s not going to land another power conference gig with that performance so he’s going to certainly have to lower his expectations or be strikingly disappointed. He’s a good coach and I certainly don’t want to go back to facing him two or three times a season.

It looks like the Loyola job might be opening up. Reports are that Porter Moser has been offered the St Johns job. That could make more dominoes fall in the HL potentially

That would be a good hire for them

That would be a homerun hire for them. Winthrop has been great. I don't understand why a coach would make this move unless the pay was that much more. The Horizon was the #22 ranked conference last year while the Big South was #23. Not the kind of step up unless the pay increase is there or the coach just wants to make a move.
