Nice to see Loudon get some attention. The tournament could be some good exposure for him if we make it there.

Like to see Oakland dispatch Greenbay to their corner in Wisconsin.

two thoughts. first, big d, you said all our losses were bad losses. I do think the I state and k states losses were to solid teams. you probably meant league losses and you are totally right.
second, drop, go over to the thread where fans are discussing whether we will be a 15 seed or can we sneak up to a 14 seed. 14 or 15!! those of us who believe this was a really good raider team with a chance to advance in the dance knew that we had a chance to be fighting for a 12 or 13 seed. but to do that we needed to beat the teams we were supposed to beat. because some of us had the audacity to say losing to ysu was a bad loss to a bad team we were assigned to la la land.
I do not know how this will all play out. shoot we may foul up and end up in the nit again. but this team fit the description of the mid majors who have surprised in the dance and I hope we do!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!!

Horizon League Quarterfinals [3] Green Bay vs [6] Oakland [4] UIC vs [5] Youngstown State [1] Wright State and [2] Northern Kentucky will await the winners in the semis. Raiders and Norse both lost to 3 of those 4 teams. Raiders will get the lowest seed remaining, which means we won't see Green Bay. I think our best chance to move on is to play UIC. Oakland had been clicking as of late, and I'm not sure we want them after knocking off Green Bay in their place. YSU just thumped us in what was our most lopsided loss on the season. I know Quisenberry had a career night, but they've certainly figured us out. I think our UIC loss was flukey and was the result of having multiple guys have poor offensive nights. Something I feel we're unlikely to repeat. The only way we get UIC is if Green Bay also wins.

The UIC/YSU game is going to be played at Loyola Chicago's Gentile arena, because there is a robotics competition at UIC tonight. What an embarrassment

Expectations for basketball at UIC are off the charts literally.

I read on the UIC board that they knew this weeks ago. The fans were obviously frustrated they were so quick to give up their home arena. UIC isn't known for great turnout, but it's an hour on the red line to get from UIC up to Loyola. Certainly will have an effect on the game tonight.

UIC game and production personnel have outnumbered the number of people in the stands every time I've been there. I wonder how that will carry over to a different campus.

That's very forwarding thinking by UIC. They planned this to combat the threat of the coronavirus on their team. Loyola keeps their gym much cleaner than UIC's arena and no fans there to spread the germs. :-)
