Now the next big question is where will we be seeded in the NCAAs. Our NET is crap and we had some really bad loses this year that are going to hurt us. We are most likely a 16 seed or could even be in the play in game for the 16 seed. I don't know if they would put us in the play in game since it will be held in our own back yard at UD arena. Personally, I kind of hope we get put in the play in game. We will have an advantage with the local crowd and a chance to pick up our first NCAA tournament win which would also give us 2 NCAA tournament shares for the next 6 years. Great point. Would be awesome for the Dayton area. This is an exciting time! GO RAIDERS!!

I just got back from Indy. What a great game and atmosphere! I think it's safe to say those are the best 2 fanbases in the league. I'm excited to rewatch the game tomorrow.
After all early season struggles and adversity, it was awesome to see the Raiders celebrate and cut down the nets. I noticed several former Raiders on the floor post-game (Loudon Love, Parker Ernsthausen, and at least a couple others) which was neat to see.
The committee would not have any problem putting the Raiders in the first four if that's where they would seed them. In a way, it would be nice to have a better chance of getting a win, getting the extra exposure, etc., but part of me hopes that doesn't happen. I'd like to think the team and program are better than a 16 seed in the first four, but it's a real possibility with how the season started and the state of the Horizon League.

I was there and the place was rocking! What an amazing comeback. Down 16 with 11:35 left and showing no signs of life. Then to score 14 in a row and make it a game again before holding on at the end.
Trey Calvin was clutch.
Grant Basile was the MVP.
Tanner Holden inspired the comeback with his defensive play.
Beating NKU like this was so satisfying. Next week is going to be really tough but not worrying about that now.
I've been following the program for 25 years and this is only the third trip to the dance in that time.
Winning in March is hard but Wright State did it tonight.
GO RAIDERS!

I agree about Tanner's defense being one of the keys to the win. I may have overlooked that during the comeback, but when I watched the highlight reels, you see several good defensive plays including a couple of steals.

Lunardi has us as a 16 playing in the first four across town.

Didn't notice it when I was there but on the replay it was the most glaring reason for the comeback.

Speaking of defense, how about the team defense played on NKU's last possession!?! NKU had been getting good looks around the rim all night long and then with 10 seconds to go just needing another 2 point bucket they have to settle for an off-balance contested 3 pointer with no time for a putback attempt. Everybody stepped up when it really mattered down the stretch. So excited for these guys to get a taste of this success and build some momentum for our program!

Absolutely great comeback and Tanner’s defense was definitely the key. Looks like we may have to do a play-in game where I would like our chances versus a team like Bryant or Nichols St. While we would have the bulk of the fans behind us, I would hope UD fans would back us and not root for our opponent!!!

I honestly think that most Flyer fans in attendance will be rooting for WSU. I am warming up to the idea of playing in the play-in game. Definitely the best path to a victory.

Agree, but it would also be a great opportunity for all the casual basketball fans that seem to buy up those tickets to get behind the home team. Also, and this is just me being selfish, but it's a heckuva lot easier for me to drive to Dayton than figure out how to get to Ft. Worth, Portland, or San Diego, which is where all the 1 seeds are set to open play per Lunardi's latest bracketology. Would be absolutely amazing for our fanbase in general.

Most seasons I would hope for a higher seed but the reality of this season is that WSU is in a bad conference and didn't play well in the non conference so a 16 seed is likely what's coming. This WSU team has the potential to win that game if they play how they're capable. The atmosphere would be electric and awesome too.
