It would be a lot of fun, to be sure. Frankly, otherwise, the team will probably be headed into a buzz saw for an opponent. I have seen three of those already (two in person), and those haven't been all that fun.

I haven't seen any mocks with us as a 15 seed. So if our options are a 16 seed playing the #1 seed with NCAA jitters or being in the play-in game in our hometown against a similar opponent and then taking a stab at a one seed with a game under our belt.... that's an easy choice in my mind.

If there is a play-in game for WSU, what times are the 16-seed games on Tuesday and Wednesday? Are those times released on Sunday evening or are they already known?

Nothing solid on this year's times, but it looks like games were scheduled for 640p and 9p the last time it was played in Dayton. It looks like tickets to the session (both games) start at $30 on Ticketmaster right now.

You can also buy directly from the UD Ticket Office, too? Just checked TM and noted it is, in fact, a secondary market for the First Four.

NKU postgame is emotional, tough to watch at times. Props to those players for going out and taking the questions.

NKU postgame is emotional, tough to watch at times. Props to those players for going out and taking the questions. Tough is right. I'm glad we won the game, but I can completely feel for these guys. I said to my wife with a minute to play that one of these teams and fanbases are going home heartbroken and I just hope it isn't us. You can see it in Faulkner's face, he's heartbroken. It doesn't seem right that the players have to face the media after a defeat like this. Darrin Horn has a job to do, he has to answer these questions; I would argue that the students don't deserve it. Like I said, I'm glad it's not our guys answering those questions, especially because it'd mean NKU sweeping us on the season.

I think this is just part of maturing and growing up. Facing the tough questions is a component of life and learning to answer even when things don't go your way is just as important as handling the success when they do. NKU handled themselves just fine. My compliments to their composure throughout.

Nobody is putting a gun to their head and making them answer questions to the media. I get that this is an emotional time but given how cocky NKU and their fanbase is, its hard for me to feel bad for them. They played a great game and they should be proud of that, but otherwise, man up.

That final sequence was nuts. The three for NKU which looked like it may be the winner was immediately answered by Trey Calvin's jumpshot with 10 seconds left.
I really like Coach Nagy calling a timeout after Calvin's basket. Normally I'm not a fan of a defensive timeout in that situation but it just felt right in that moment. I can't describe it any other way. Maybe it was the insanity of the atmosphere or something he saw. As a fan when he called that timeout I was really happy.
The defense was able to be setup & forced a tough shot which gave WSU the conference championship.
I think I've watched the final minute like eight times today. An all-time Raider moment & game.
What a comeback & what a win!
