At the game...terrible turnout, very few students, no pep band (I assume for a more neutral tournament feel?). Very strange. Hey, we turned up the sound system from high-unintelligible to painful-unintellibile, what more do you want? |

Welage played almost 2 minutes before committing some sort of terrible sin and getting benched. He's now coming back in the game...
With 10:20 left.
He deserves more than this.

Game seems kind of stale. We're up, but we're not playing real well. Seems like we're just kind of fling with the flow trying to coast to what should be an easy win.

Man that interview with Clint and Chris was far and above the best post game interview of the year that I’ve heard. Much better than coach yelling over Nagy.

The school didn't have advance notice that we'd be playing this game to get the word out to the students (who are on spring break). Obviously they couldn't scrap together a promo, pregame, etc. due to the limited time constraint and quite possibly due to league rules. Lastly, this team really limped into the tournament losing 3 of their last 4. Playing an opening round home game is certainly uncharted territory for us, so the fact we had to play a 3 win team at home isn't likely to excite much of anyone. It was OUR WORST attended game of the season; worse than Defiance, worse than Northwest Ohio. The school probably can't hand tickets out like candy to surrounding businesses and WPAFB, it's a school night, there's other sporting events going on tonight as well...just a myriad of reasons why people didn't show up. |
