kfx, no I have not seen him shoot a traditional hook shot. I've said the same thing about the hook shot, that is unstoppable, but it seems to be a lost art. The closest thing is the jump hook, which it seems most guys want to put the ball on the deck before shooting the ball. I think Louden leads the team in turnovers, so bad things tend to happen when big guys try to dribble.

Not sure where else to put this, but every time I see Tyler Herro do something like he did last night, it makes me more excited to see Basile suit up for us next year. Different positions, I know, but their high school battles on YouTube are amazing.

Different positions, I know, but their high school battles on YouTube are amazing. I know people were already excited about our current freshmen class from what they saw with Smith and Potter. Basile is going to blow their minds. He was really good when he stepped foot on campus. I’m really excited to see him next season after getting a year in the weight room and getting to go against Lou and Parker at practice.

Big d, in addition to basile I am looking forward to seeing Harris and drew Burleson II. Both top 20 in Ohio seniors.

Big d, in addition to basile I am looking forward to seeing Harris and drew Burleson II. Both top 20 in Ohio seniors. My guess is our staff hopes to land a grad transfer with our last scholarship. If that is the case you might not see any of our incoming freshmen play next year. I know Nagy would really like to get back to where he had his most success at SDSU where he red shirted and developed his players over a 5 year period. If you look at the recruiting board and check out our incoming freshmen, Noah is the only one with a true D1 body right now. They other 3 look like they could benefit from a year in the weight room. Who plays and who red shirts depends on how good of shape guys are in when they show up on campus and how quickly they pick up our defense but if we land a grad transfer forward, everyone else returns and is healthy, I think Nagy will try to red shirt at least 2 if not all of the freshmen.

Big d, in addition to basile I am looking forward to seeing Harris and drew Burleson II. Both top 20 in Ohio seniors. When I watch Noah's highlights, I see more Vaughn Duggins than Drew Burleson - with all due respects to Drew. Noah looks like a 'big' outside player where Drew was more of a small - and especially tough - inside guy. I think Big D is correct here. The other three incoming Freshman are rather thin for D1 at the moment. Potter and Smith both came in with D1 bodies - or close to it - and they still had/have an adjustment period. This roster looks pretty good - and will look even better with a transfer with some size: Gentry - Sr Smith - So Hall - So Potter - So Wampler - Sr Love - Jr Basile - Fr Transfer - ? Noah seems like the perfect compliment to Wampler from watching his highlights. That lineup needs a great shooter and Noah looks the part - on highlights anyway. If Smith/Hall/Potter improve their 3-Pt shooting over the summer - which is possible as they are all good shooters now - I could see Noah red-shirting as well.

Tanner Holden is from Wheelersbug, OH, the same school where Drew Burleson played his HS ball. I'm sure that's what kfx's comment about Burleson II is all about.

I think Drew is 36 or so so it wouldn't be out of the realm for him to have an 18 year old even though he doesn't. Yeah, we're old.

Its now or never for Manns. If he can't get in the 8 man rotation this coming season, I doubt he ever will.

Thanks for posting. This article made me even more excited for next year. I keep overlooking Tanner Holden when I look to next year's roster.

I think we are going to lose one of our incoming recruits too.
