Wait, did Dozic commit? Recruiting thread for him has changed from Wright State Offer to Wright State. I must have missed something, would be great news though It never said offer. It always said commitment

The rotation for this upcoming season is firming up nicely. Both Ash and Dozic are immediately eligible so I expect both of them to see significant minutes. Add in Gentry, Love, Wampler,Hall, Potter & Baslie and I think those 8 will see most of the minutes. Given that, maybe all of the incoming freshmen will be redshirted, barring injuries of course. This looks like a roster that should win the HL title and be NCAA Bound next March.

BBJ, on paper this team does look pretty tough. Love should be even more of a force this year, If Dozic and Baslie can be legitimate threats on the inside with him. This threesome could rival the trio of Hammonds, Edwards, and Nahar. Agreed. I also like that we have the international trip this offseason. It gives us some extra time to integrate the new faces. My favorite aspect of the roster is that it looks like we will have legitimate competition for playing time. The "bottom" of the roster will be as strong as I can remember.

With 3 big men who I can assume are all going to get a lot of playing time, it will lighten the worry about one guy getting in foul trouble. Obviously there are still big dudes in the league, but with NKU losing Vogt and McDonald, there presence under rather shouldn’t cause us any headaches. Last year was supposed to be a season where we were overloaded and it ended up not being that way but it really looks like we’ve got a deep rotation if the coaching staff chooses to want that

bbj, I agree with you this looks like a solid rotation. if we really want to see success this year beyond the horizon league we need to do two things. first, build a solid schedule with no d-2/3 schools on it and some teams good enough to allow us to build a solid resume with some quality wins. second, we must come out from the gate with guns blazing , playing quality basketball from the start. no taking 10 games to get to know each other and getting comfortable with our style of play and our coach’s expectations.
if we can do those two things and play up to our potential maybe we make the ncaa with a seeding that gives us a chance to win a game or two. I hope the get some nationally televised games or better yet come down and play the gators or seminoles. be nice to go to a raider game especially if I can do it and stay on 80 degree weather.

While the 6-3, 200-pound Ash was deciding to relocate, he received valuable input from former Wright State coach Billy Donlan, who was an assistant at Northwestern before becoming the head coach at UMKC in March.“I asked him about the area and what he really liked about the school. He had all good things to say,” Ash said.I am glad to hear of this. Donlan endorsing Ash's decision to go to Wright State shows me something good about him.

FWIW, I don't have any reason to think that Andy Neff isn't still considered part of the team.

13 scholarship players and 12 eligible to play. But would expect 1-3 of the freshmen might RS also. On paper looks great. With good results we should land some more good recruits.

Hoops Junkie, I’m sure the players don’t look at it that way. Walk ons are part of the team.

Hoops Junkie, can't control what you think. Made the mistake of thinking you intended to give an up-to-date roster as we know it.

Everyone likes to cheer for the walk ons but they don’t factor into how many scholarships we will have available next year for recruiting and they won’t factor into our player rotation for next year. I wouldn’t have listed them in our roster make up for next year either because that is what I think of when I talk about our roster....who is going to play and who do we need to replace in the future. Doesn’t mean I don’t care about our walk ons and it doesn’t mean I don’t root for them to get into games and make an impact when they do see the court.
