Absolutely, like others have mentioned it would be great to get some big time leads and have Nagy throw our freshman out there for maybe the last 5-10 mins of some games to see how they perform. Any and all experience helps boost confidence. It’s cool that we are excited for the incoming/returning talent shooting the rock and we haven’t even mentioned our best player Loudon. Seems like he is always a lock for around 15pts and 10rebounds. Will his numbers drop off in either category if Basile is playing alongside him? Or will he just average an extra assist or two per game now? Haha

Great article and season outlooks for all teams. It said Jaylon was a senior but that’s the only error I saw about our team. Projected Basile in the starting lineup over Finke. I don’t think we can go wrong either way but I want to keep both of them for the next 3 seasons so whichever one doesn’t start I hope they are proud of their role and thrive In it like Wampler did coming off of the bench. Either way both players are going to get all the minutes they can handle so it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Something else I've thought about: We could have a lineup with a lot of length this season. If Hall or Welage plays PG, we could have a lineup with some combination of Hall/Welage/Holden/Finke/Manns/Basile/Love where the shortest player on the floor is 6'5" or 6'6".

It says the NCAA is in talks with venues around the Indianapolis metro area. Assuming the tournament happens, that puts IUPUI in prime position to get a decent paycheck. “The tournament will be hosted by Ball State, Butler, the Horizon League, Indiana, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Purdue, which are lending their facilities and staffs to assist with tournament operations.” That’s two spots for the league.
